Quality violins, violas, cellos and basses in all sizes are available for rent. All rentals have been professionally set up for ease of playing and optimum tone quality — the soundpost has been properly fit, the bridge is properly cut, pegs work well, and the tailpiece includes fine tuners. You may change sizes at any time during the rental period at no additional cost.
A security deposit is required for all rentals, to be paid with the first month’s rent. If the instrument is returned in good standing, the deposit will be returned. It can also be applied to the purchase of the instrument.
Rentals are charged monthly - either on the 1st or the 15th of the month - to a debit or credit card kept on file. Call 337-534-4436 for more information.

For families with two or more rentals from Sola Violins, we provide 10% off lesser priced rentals. To receive the discount, all rentals must be charged to the same debit/credit card on the same day.
100% of the first year’s rental fees and 20% of subsequent months’ rental fees can be applied toward the purchase of the rented instrument or any similar instrument in stock. (Example: Violin rental for violin purchase, etc.) Rental credit is not general store credit.
